CLEVELAND — Thousands of FirstEnergy customers in Summit County are without power on Thursday afternoon.

According to FirstEnergy, as of 2:45 p.m., there are a total of 6,440 outages in their Ohio service area. Here are the counties most impacted:

Summit: 5,435

3News has reached out to FirstEnergy to find out more about the outages and when customers can expect to regain power. We will post updates in this story.

At one point on Thursday, there were over 19,000 outages in Ohio, with over 11,000 in Summit County and roughly 3,500 in Stark and Wayne counties.
