The 13th annual Torklift Turkey Challenge brought in 7,321 food items and $13,618 in support of the Kent Food Bank to help local families in need during the holiday season.
Each year, Torklift Central organizes the Kent Turkey Challenge that brings together local businesses, organizations and residents in a friendly competition to combat hunger in the community. This year’s results reflect the ongoing compassion and dedication of Kent’s citizens and partners who continue to show up for their neighbors, according to a Dec. 2 Torklift Central press release.
