FLINT, MI -- A woman and a 13-year-old boy who was a passenger in her vehicle are both in critical condition at Hurley Medical Center after a head-on collision on Flint’s north side on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
Flint police said the accident on Fleming Road near West Myrtle Avenue occurred at 4:13 p.m. when a southbound Chevrolet van driven by the woman, 36, crossed the centerline, hitting a northbound GMC Sierra truck, which overturned from the impact of the crash.
Both the driver and passenger of the van were in critical condition, suffering multiple injuries, according to police. The driver of the truck, the only occupant of that vehicle, suffered what police described as minor injuries.
