SOMERSET, Ky. (WKYT) - A southern Kentucky man accused of murdering his neighbor appeared in court Thursday, and entered a not guilty plea.
James Gleason is charged with murdering Adam Roark. The crime happened in October.

Gleason appeared on a video monitor from the Pulaski County jail Thursday morning. His attorney entered the standard not guilty plea, then asked for an evaluation because of concerns about schizophrenia.
Danielle Roark and many family and friends of her husband were also in the courtroom for the arraignment. She said that a lot of things led up to the violent encounter with Gleason the night of October 8 and that this could have been prevented.
