SARASOTA, Fla. ( WWSB ) - A beloved holiday tradition will be performed for one night only at the Sarasota Opera House. The Sarasota Cuban Ballet presents the Nutcracker on Friday, December 5th.
It’s strong yet delicate. Fast yet lingering. It takes up so much air and yet also the tiniest space.
“I’m not a very talkative person, so I guess the dance and movement and expressing myself that way kind of came easier to me,” said Brian Guerrero, a company artist with Sarasota Cuban Ballet.

“Dance just has my whole heart, and ballet specifically is such a magical genre. There’s so much life, so much emotion, so much expression,” said Evelyn Lyman, also a company artist.
