The Wingham and District Hospital (WDH) Foundation is celebrating another exceptional Giving Tuesday thanks to the generosity of local donors and a $10,000 matching donation from Lucknow Pharmasave.

“This was a meaningful way to give back and support the overall health of the community,” said pharmacist Dionne Smith in a WDH Foundation news release, adding she was proud to be part of the event.

Lucknow Pharmasave stepped up as this year’s BIG Match donor by doubling donations made to the Foundation throughout the day on Dec. 2.

The community ended up raising $52,175 to be put towards the purchase of a bone density scanner for the Wingham and District Hospital.
