SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WBAY) - The search for a missing Sheboygan man that triggered a Silver Alert didn’t have the outcome people were hoping for.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office says Todd Janssen, 63, was found dead at about 11 o’clock Thursday morning.
Janssen was last seen at about 6:30 Saturday morning on the 4000 block of Broadway Rd. in Sheboygan, where he was dropped off by a cab. He left his assisted living facility half an hour earlier.
Concerns about his safety only grew with Saturday’s snowstorm and this week’s sharply falling temperatures.
Extensive searches didn’t turn anything up until Thursday. The sheriff’s office says the DNR was “instrumental” in locating him.
The cause of Janssen’s death will be investigated, but the sheriff’s office says there’s nothing to indicat
