The European Broadcasting Union held a general assembly today and ruled that Israel will be allowed to compete in Eurovision 2026 in Vienna, despite calls from multiple countries to ban them from competition. As a result, Spain (one of the 5 biggest contributors to the EBU), the Netherlands, Ireland, and Slovenia have all announced their withdrawal.
