EXETER – Jessica’s House Hospice in Exeter is celebrating the success of its Handbags for Hospice fundraiser, which raised a gross of $180,000 to support the hospice’s free end-of-life and grief support services.
Held at the South Huron Rec Centre on Friday, Oct. 24, the event brought together donors, sponsors, volunteers and community members. A portion of the funds raised came through the event’s “Fund-A-Need”appeal, which focuses on Jessica’s House’s goal of buying three specialized cuddle beds for resident rooms.
