Louisville Metro Police are investigating a shooting in the Hurstbourne Acres neighborhood, a MetroSafe supervisor said.

LMPD officials said there is a heavy police presence in the 900 block of Red Deer Circle. No other details were immediately provided by officials from LMPD or Metrosafe. It is unclear if there are any injuries.

Residents are advised to avoid the area while the investigation is ongoing.
