LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Emergency personnel are on the scene of a reported shooting in Hurstbourne Acres area.

The shooting was reported around 1:55 p.m. in the 9000 block of Red Deer Circle, located off Taylorsville Road to the west of Hurstbourne Parkway.

Louisville Metro police are asking people to avoid the area because of a heavy police presence and a critical investigation.
