NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Defensive lineman Jeffrey Simmons has been named the Tennessee Titans Club winner for the 2025 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award presented by Nationwide.
According to Titans’ officials, the award is the NFL’s most prestigious honor. It recognizes “players who excel on the field and demonstrate a commitment to making a positive impact beyond the game.”
Simmons is the first Titans player since Kevin Carter (2002-05) to be nominated for the award for three consecutive years.
Simmons, who was drafted by the Titans in 2019, founded the “Give Em a Reason Foundation.” His foundation “aims to inspire youth empowerment through sport, by way of self-esteem building and opportunity creation as part of his commitment to helping the community.”
