1BROOKLYN, NY – A 14-year-old girl was swarmed by six teens and robbed of her belongings in a sudden street attack at a busy East New York intersection Wednesday evening.
The group confronted the girl near New Lots Avenue and Van Sinderen Avenue around 5:25 p.m., officials said.
After surrounding the victim, the suspects forcibly removed her backpack and sneakers before running off in different directions.
The unidentified assailants—described as four males and two females between 14 and 17 years old with light complexions—remain at large as investigators work to identify them.
No injuries were reported, but the stolen property was valued at roughly $900.
