LOUISVILLE, KY — South Carolina women's basketball is set for its third ACC/SEC Challenge .

The No. 3 Gamecocks (7-1) are coming off a 66-64 loss to No. 2 Texas and now face No. 21 Louisville (7-2) at the KFC Yum Center on Dec. 4 (7 p.m. ET, ESPN).

South Carolina coach Dawn Staley is undefeated in the cross-conference event, beating North Carolina in 2023-24 then Duke last season.

The Cardinals haven't played South Carolina since the Final Four at the end of the 2021-22 season, when Staley won her second national championship. Overall the Gamecocks are 18-4 against the Cardinals, and 7-1 on the road.
