The University of Calgary has made it to the list of Canada’s top five research institutes ranked by a leading consulting and publishing firm in the country’s research ecosystem.

Re$earch Infosource has placed the university at a rung below the University of British Columbia, a rise from sixth place last year.

“This top-five ranking was achieved thanks to the brilliance and dedication of our research community,” stated Dr. William Ghali, vice-president of research at UCalgary.
