Maurice DuBois is leaving “CBS Evening News” later this month as Bari Weiss, the newly named editor-in-chief of CBS News , reportedly plans an overhaul of the program.
DuBois has been an co-anchor of the nightly broadcast since January after moving over from New York City’s flagship CBS station.
His last day will be Dec. 18 , he confirmed in a social media post Thursday.
“Moving On: December 18th is the day of my last broadcast at CBS News,” DuBois wrote on Instagram. “It has been the honor of a lifetime. 21 years altogether, including my time at WCBS-TV in New York City. What a privilege! To be welcomed into your homes night after night, delivering the news / meeting extraordinary people and telling their stories.”
