Montreal police arrested a second suspect Thursday in connection with the 2021 alleged arson at the under-construction home owned by the former co-owner of pornography website Pornhub.

The SPVM’s arson and explosives unit arrested 28-year-old Mohamed Aymen Tayeb in the Ville-Marie borough. He appeared in court Thursday afternoon to be charged with arson. The allegation has not been tested in court.

Montreal police arrested Claudy Lafond, 39, in September – the first arrest in the case. The suspect was already incarcerated in the Bordeaux jail awaiting trial for attempted murder.
