COLUMBUS, Ohio — Federal officials say U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has launched a new operation in Minnesota that specifically targets undocumented Somali immigrants. The effort — announced Monday night — follows a Cabinet meeting with President Donald Trump.
During that meeting, Trump was asked whether Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz should resign over allegations involving the state. In response, Trump delivered extended remarks about Somali immigrants in Minnesota.
