The widow of assassinated Turning Point USA founder and activist Charlie Kirk will speak about the aftermath of her husband’s killing in a prime-time “town hall” event televised on CBS later this month.
The network announced that Erika Kirk will speak during the event that will air on Dec. 13 and be moderated by Bari Weiss, the network’s new editor-in-chief and founder of the Free Press website.
Charlie Kirk, a conservative political activist, was assassinated by gunshot on Sept. 10 while speaking to college students at Utah Valley University.
His widow will take questions from evangelicals and religious and political leaders at the event, which will be pre-taped at a New York studio. It will air at 8 p.m. ahead of the Family Film and TV Awards , which will be delayed by a week.
