SPRINGFIELD — The new Chick-fil-A at the old Eastfield Mall site at 1655 Boston Road opens 6:30 a.m. on Dec. 11, the company said Thursday.

Chick-fil-A Inc. selected Joe Pecoraro to be the local owner-operator.

Chick-fil-A East Springfield will serve guests Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery and mobile thru — a line for app users, according to a statement.

And for the grand opening, cows eat free: Guests of all ages who arrive dressed in cow spots or sporting a cow-spotted accessory on opening day can redeem one free entree or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.

The restaurant will have 120 full- and part-time jobs.
