The UK is set for subzero temperatures and the Met Office has now issued a yellow warning for freezing fog, which could cause travel chaos in four parts of the country

Brits in four areas have been told flights could be cancelled as the Met Office issues a weather warning.

It has been a wet start to December for many areas, with downpours and even a Met Office amber warning for rain on Monday. And we are seeing temperatures plunge to below zero in parts of the UK.

The Met Office has now issued a yellow weather warning for fog in the south of the country. The national weather agency says the fog could lead to travel disruption - including flight cancellations - with visibility falling below 100m. The regions affected are East Sussex, Kent, Surrey and West Sussex.
