Jay Ross, executive director of B’nai Jeshurun Congregation in Pepper Pike, announced at the board of trustees meeting on Dec. 2 that he will be stepping down from his role in spring 2026, following the hiring of a new executive director.

Ross will remain involved at B’nai Jeshurun by taking on a limited role as a special project consultant, allowing him to continue to support the congregation during this transition period, according to an email newsletter sent to the congregation.
