EXCLUSIVE : Jacquie Katz is departing CAA where she has been for 15 years, 11 and a half of them as an agent in the TV lit department, most recently based in New York.

Katz is staying in New York as she is switching careers — she is leaving CAA at the end of the month to pursue a Master’s degree in social work at New York University.

Having first joined CAA in 2010 as an assistant in Los Angeles, Katz was promoted to agent in 2014. She served as Co-Head of TV Lit from 2017-2019 and relocated to New York in 2021.

Katz represents such well known television writers, directors, producers and comedians as Dan Erickson, Alissa Nutting, Pamela Adlon, Amber Ruffin, Desi Lydic, Emily Kapnek, Jake Schreier, Kate Herron, Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, Jonathan Spector, Marla Mindelle, Miki Johnson
