Miley Cyrus has joked that her engagement ring from fiancé Maxx Morando was a "Black Friday deal".
The 33-year-old singer has humourously claimed that her now-fiancé purchased the sparkling ring during the biggest sales of the year.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday night, host Jimmy Kimmel congratulated Miley on her engagement, which was announced earlier this week.
"Your fiancé, I wonder if he realises - Maxx is your fiancé - if he waited like, three weeks so he wouldn't have to come up with a Christmas gift," Jimmy quipped.
Seizing the moment, Miley showed off her ring and joked, "This was (a) Black Friday deal, baby."
After clarifying that she was only joking, the Flowers hitmaker added that drummer Maxx "was smart that way".
"It might have been. I'm not sure," she said casually.
The former Hannah Montana star and musician Max, 27, were first romantically linked in late 2021 after being set up on a blind date.
The engagement was confirmed on Tuesday when Miley attended the world premiere of the forthcoming film Avatar: Fire and Ash with a diamond ring on her finger. She was previously married to Hunger Games actor Liam Hemsworth from 2018 to 2020.
Miley opened up about the proposal during an appearance on Good Morning America this week, revealing that Maxx had popped the question while they were in Asia.
"I am not easy to surprise because I love to control every situation, and I had completely surrendered," she admitted. "And I'm telling you, I was so, so surprised."
