LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. — A picture , posted by the Cornwall Borough Police Department, has people fawning over the social media post.

"A little bit of a bizarre event here at the golf course," said Todd Fetzer, pro shop manager at Fairview Golf Course in Lebanon. "We obviously have a lot of wildlife that run on the course here, but none that want to be your buddies or your friends.”

A deer was found with the word "pet" written on its side in bright orange spray paint on Saturday. Fetzer received a call from his neighbor alerting him to the friendly animal.

“I just kind of stopped for about a second and said, 'Excuse me?' She's like, 'yeah, we have a pet deer over here. He's about as friendly as can be. Almost walked into the building,'” Fetzer recalled.
