COLUMBUS, Ohio — Five Ohio hospitals were awarded a combined $5 million grant aimed at improving the detection and treatment of cancer in children, Gov. Mike DeWine announced Thursday.
The investment , established as part of the fiscal year 2026-2027 state biennial budget, will go toward multiple pediatric cancer research studies.
The grant was given to the following Ohio-based health care and nonprofit research organizations:
Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center
Cleveland Clinic
Dayton Children’s Hospital
Maple Tree Cancer Alliance
Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital
