ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - On Thursday First Alert 4 heard from the new streets director James Jackson for the first time.

“Our team performed marvelously,” Jackson said.

Jackson has already started implementing changes, including a quality control aspect to the plowing protocol.

After crews plow streets, neighborhood stabilization officers then go out to inspect if snow routes were properly plowed.

“There is opportunity for us to do things a bit better than we have in the past,” Jackson said.

One of those things includes the idea of plowing some side streets.

Jackson said the plan is to have neighborhood meetings in the future to determine what residential streets would be best to plow.
