California lawmakers have passed numerous laws this year, including ones that could help residents as they navigate buying a car, canceling their social media accounts, and ordering food delivery.

AB 578: Refunds and customer service help for food delivery
AB 578 requires a food delivery platform to have a “clear and conspicuous customer service feature” that allows customers to contact a person.
