Robert De Niro is on the mend.
The two-time Oscar winner stepped out at New York City's Studio 54 to watch the Oedipus play on Dec. 3 while sporting a black sling around his right arm.
Indeed, Robert, 82, kept his injured limb wrapped up in a medical-grade shoulder strap for the evening, including while posing backstage with the Broadway production's stars Mark Strong (who plays Oedipus) and Lesley Manville (Jocasta).
As for the why the Godfather actor needed the extra support? His rep confirmed to People Dec. 4 that he recently underwent a procedure and would need the sling for a few more days.
