CLEVELAND, Ohio — You weren’t imagining it if November felt snowier than usual.
With 5.8 inches of snow recorded over the course of the month at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, it was the snowiest November in a decade — and notably more than the long-term normal of 4.5 inches.
Most of the month’s snowfall came in several light rounds.
Snow totaled 1.8 inches on Nov. 9 and 1.2 inches the next day on Nov. 10.
During the week of Thanksgiving, snow fell four days in a row, with 1 inch on the holiday itself, 0.8 inches on Black Friday, then 0.9 inches on Nov. 29 and 0.1 inch on Nov. 30.
Several other days saw flakes but not enough to measure.
While Hopkins recorded just an inch on Thanksgiving Day, other parts of Northeast Ohio picked up significantly more , as lake-effect band
