City Council lawmakers voted to override four bills vetoed last month by Mayor Eric Adams.

It comes with just weeks left in Adams’ term and could be the final chapter of his ongoing battles with the City Council.

One of the four pieces of legislation would cap rent contributions from city housing voucher recipients.

Deputy City Council Speaker Diana Ayala, the lead sponsor of the bill, joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Thursday to discuss more.

Her district includes parts of northern Manhattan and the South Bronx. She’s also the chair of the Committee on General Welfare.
