Before Corpus Christi ISD decides whether to close Travis Elementary School, community members want district leadership to know that they love the Westside school and the neighborhood it serves.

School district leaders want the community to know that after years of budget deficits and dropping enrollments districtwide, closing a few older campuses could help keep the district from falling into a deeper financial hole.
