PHOENIX — A woman was hospitalized after a fighter turned into a shooting in south Phoenix Thursday afternoon, according to a report.

ABC15 reported that the Phoenix Police Department responded to a shooting near Central Avenue and Roeser Road around 4 p.m.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound.

She was reportedly taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries that were considered not life-threatening.

According to ABC15, police discovered that two women were fighting when one of them pulled out a gun and fired multiple times.
