HOUSTON – Several westbound lanes of I-10 east are shutdown after multiple vehicles hit a large pothole and got flat tires Thursday night.

The incident happened between Normandy Street and Uvalde Road.

Houston Police say at least 10 vehicles got flat tires after hitting the pothole, which they described as about a foot deep.

Three westbound lanes are currently closed in the area.
