SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Little boys and girls spending the holidays in the hospital got an early visit from Santa Claus when Atlanta Gas Light delivered bags and bags of toys to Memorial Health Children’s Hospital.
Thursday’s visit, the tenth year in a row for the event, brought smiles, laughter and a welcome dose of holiday magic to patients and their families.
Children had the chance to sit on Santa’s lap and pick a special gift from his sack, while volunteers and hospital staff helped make the celebration run smoothly.
“The best part is really the presents,” said Ares, a patient at the hospital.
