Brazil pot in World Cup draw: Where Selecao will be selected for 2026 FIFA group stage

No one has won the FIFA World Cup more than Brazil.

On Friday, the Selecao will learn what their next path to the trophy will look like. The World Cup draw will take place at 12 noon ET in Washington, D.C., ahead of next summer's tournament co-hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada.

As of the week of the draw, Brazil are ranked No. 5 in the world rankings.

There will be questions to be answered between now and the summer, most notably whether Neymar will be a factor in Brazil's plans.

But the sense of anticipation is due to rise when the draw takes place and Brazil knows which teams will share a four-team group to begin the 2026 World Cup.
