CARTERVILLE, Ill. (KFVS) - In Williamson County, hundreds of eighth-graders had a hands-on experience on Thursday to help them choose career paths.
It was all part of John A. Logan College’s 8th Grade Career Fair.
Now in its fourth year, the career fair provides an opportunity for students to interact with local businesses and companies, offering them a closer look at potential career paths.
Students rotated through more than a dozen local companies in a musical chairs-style setting, learning about the different careers.
Heartland News’ Devin Kidd even spent the morning talking with students about local news and communications at the fair.
