KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Chairman's Club , a group of 100 men "dedicated to transforming the lives of underprivileged youth" in East Tennessee, distributed $125,000 in grants to eight nonprofits.
These nonprofits, according to the group, empower young people through sports, arts, education, health care and more. The grant distribution was held on Thursday from 6:30-9:30 p.m. in downtown Knoxville.
The following grants were distributed.
Shop With A Cop – $15,000
Babies with Special Needs – $22,500
Family Promise Knoxville – $15,000
Fostering Hope– $15,000
Isaiah House – $22,500
KICKO – $15,000
Wesley House – $10,000
Foundation 101 – $10,000
