Israel's Consul of Tourism Affairs for India, Galit Hoffman, is confident that a direct air link between Goa and Tel Aviv would transform travel and commercial ties, potentially multiplying current Israeli tourist arrivals and encourage more Goans to visit Israel.
Speaking about non-stop flights as a pivotal development area for both countries, Hoffman was quoted by ANI as saying, "If we launch direct flights between Goa to Tel Aviv, this will be a game-changer for both sides. If today there are maybe 20,000 Israelis a year or 30,000 Israelis a year, with a direct flight, you will get families, you will get business people coming, and you will get more sectors which can be very relevant to Goa and Tel Aviv," she said.
Hoffman emphasised that Goa already holds a strong appeal among Israel
