LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The countdown to Christmas kicks off in a big way across Louisville on Saturday.

There are several community-wide celebrations in Jefferson County alone, along with others scheduled in Kentuckiana.

The jam-packed Saturday includes FaLaLa on Frankfort, Light Up St. Matthews, Bardstown Road Aglow, and Light Up Louisville.

FaLaLa on Frankfort

The tradition on Frankfort Avenue has the earliest start time at 7 a.m. featuring Brunch with Mrs. Claus at Morning Fork.

The Holiday Dog Walk is another highlight. That begins at 12:30 at Urban Village Vet. There will be live music and activities throughout the day along the avenue.

Businesses are also getting into the spirit, including Margaret's Fine Consignments, which will have a special.
