North Rowan took three of the major awards for Yadkin Valley Conference football.

Michael Alford, a quarterback and linebacker, was voted overall YVC Player of the Year.

A’son Best, a receiver and kick returner, was voted Offensive Player of the Year.

North Rowan coach Josh Sophia was honored as YVC Coach of the Year.

Union Charter Academy kicker Stephen Gonzalez is the YVC Special Teams Player of the Year.

Mountain Island Charter lineman Jason Eaton is the YVC Defensive Player of the Year.

In addition to Alford and Best, North Rowan placed offensive linemen King Feamster and Silas Sophia, tight end Khi Walker, receiver Dyaon Norman-Jackson, running back/DB Jo Jo Tarver, outside linebacker Jaden Walker and free safety
