SALISBURY — Down Home N.C. held its first listening session in Rowan County during which time neighbors, local leaders and elected officials were invited to join in conversation about local issues.
Two elected officials were on hand for the event including China Grove Mayor Rodney Phillips and Gemale Black, who had been elected to the Salisbury City Council but had not officially been sworn in yet.
