BENGALURU: A 65-year-old retired BMTC bus driver killed his paralysed wife, 60, by strangling her with a rope and later ended his life by hanging at his Chikkagowdanapalya residence in south Bengaluru on Dec 2. Venkatesan R was disturbed over his wife Baby M's health condition, sources said. Their son, Arun Kumar V, 39, told police his father had, over the past two years, repeatedly threatened to first kill his mother and then take his own life.
