The arrival of Russian President Vladimir Putin in Delhi, his first visit to India in four years , was no doubt high on optics. There was the red carpet welcome, Prime Minister Narendra Modi breaking protocol to greet him on the tarmac, a firm handshake, followed by a warm hug.
