A police head constable has been suspended after he allegedly trespassed into a house and assaulted one of the family members at Koyila in Kadaba.

Complainant Babu Gowda (53) of Koyila, Kadaba, said that on the late night of December 3, loud noises were heard from the nearby house of his brother, Harish. When he went to check, the family members had apprehended an unidentified man who had illegally entered the house.

As per the complaint, the intruder allegedly attacked a family member, Chetan with his hand while attempting to escape. When questioned by the family, the man identified himself as Raju Naik, a Head Constable attached to Kadaba Police Station.
