A wedding reception in Karnataka took an unexpected turn when a newly married couple was forced to attend their own celebration through a video call. The incident took place in Hubballi after multiple IndiGo flights were cancelled, leaving the couple stuck in Bhubaneswar despite having everything planned.

The reception for Medha Kshirsagar from Hubballi and Sangama Das from Bhubaneswar was supposed to be a big family event at Gujarat Bhavan. Both of them work as software engineers in Bengaluru and had already tied the knot in Bhubaneswar on November 23. Their formal reception in the bride’s hometown was set for December 3, but nothing went as expected.
