DETROIT — It’ll be hard to find many people who were satisfied with the way the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys were officiated Thursday night.
While the Lions came away with an all-important win at Ford Field in their quest to get into the postseason, it didn’t come without its hiccups.
The referees missed some questionable calls in the first half as Jacob Saylors had his head dug into the field on a kickoff return after the whistle and a fairly clear offsides on Dallas wasn’t called, resulting in a punt for Detroit.
But some consequential calls also went the way of the Lions, particularly a pair of offensive pass interference calls in the second half on key third-down plays for the Cowboys.
