New Delhi: India is “on the side of peace” in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Friday during his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“The world will only progress if we walk on the path of peace,” Modi said in his remarks.

On his part, President Putin thanked Modi for his efforts in working towards “finding a solution” to end the almost four-year-long war.
“I shared in great detail of the events taking place in Ukraine. We are working together with some partners including the US on a possible peace deal. Thank you for your attention towards finding a solution from your end,” Putin
