A heartbroken son has spoken out after two men were found guilty of killing his mum in a high-speed crash near Ayr. Shona McKinlay's son Callum branded Rory Nimmo, 26, and John Clark, 43, as 'rats' after the pair were found to have caused her death at the High Court in Glasgow on Wednesday, December 3.
The court heard how the pair hit 111mph on the A70 before Nimmo lost control and struck Shona's white Renault Kangoo van on October 28, 2022. The beloved mum left behind Callum, daughter Tahlar Grant, and fiancé Andy Muir.
Reacting to the verdict, Callum slammed both men for dragging out the process for justice over his mother's death before making an emotional statement about living life without her, reports the Record.
