ZACK Polanski has branded Labour a “government of cowards” as he accused them of not telling people the truth about migration in the UK.
The Greens leader appeared as a panelist on the BBC’s Question Time, which was in Dover for an immigration special, where he clashed with host Fiona Bruce while trying to answer a question about his party’s policies on the subject.
Bruce accused Polanski’s party of “shying away” from talking about believing in a world without borders while in public, despite the Greens backing the idea on paper.
The Greens leader hit back at Bruce’s comments, stating that immigration is a “positive thing” for the UK, and that migrants have been demonised and used as scapegoats by consecutive governments over their own failings.
